Some people view technology as an invention that simplified and made communication more effective. In my opinion, tech helpt humanity a lot by making communication uncomplicated and fast, but in some situations, real life comunication could be prefered.
Firstly, Tchnology is a way to develop our interraction. Indeed, engeenering created new gadget such as mobile phone, 5G, mails and social medias, that increased the flow of our communication. We don’t only write a letter or even call eachother anymore we can chat, twit, snap… Thoses new fonctionnalities transformed our way of communicating. It became fast, and global because we can use it everywhere and it is immediate. Tech can be helpfull to saving life, for instance, we can call an ambulance from nearly everywhere in France. It is not a very recent possibility, but it is because of technology that chance to survive from an heart attack rised of 25 point from 1800.
However, in some delicate situations, communicating by the use of a technological object can be be litigious. Human relations can sometime be difficults to maintain, and i think that a real face to face talk is unreplaceable. Texting can lead to miscomprehentions, even calling lacks of information such as facial expresions or a proper tone of the voice. To illustrate 80% of americans delare regreting having a discution online instead of a face to face talk.
So, technologies are helpful tools that could not be replace in our current society. It renforced our interractions and lead to a positive impact on our way of living. But it is clear that phones doesn’t replace human interractions. We could ask ourselves if social-media are a good way of communicating too…
