More and more species are known to be endangered nowadays and scientists explain that most of the animals we see on a daily basis are not going to be around much longer. Many more people are trying to raise awareness towards attempts to save endangered animal species, such as the tiger or the blue whale, while as many others think that this problem is not worth caring about.

I have had the chance to travel around the world to different continents many times in my life, being able to see different animals in their own habitats as well as in zoos where they are locked in cages. The reasons why many more species are endangered can be easily identified. Many animals, especially in zoos, are not treated carefully and some of the endangered species are used as attractions in many touristy spots. For example, i had the chance to witness locals using elephants as tourist attractions in places like Thailand or in India. Moreover, multinationals keep using animals to test their products causing them health problems and showing that the issues related to endangered animals are often neglected by Governments themselves.

Raising awareness regarding these situations resulted in campaigns for more rights towards endangered species, asking Governments to use more funds to contribute to this cause. I believe that the issue related to endangered animal species is very important and that Governments should spend more money and time trying to solve this problem. In fact, most of the reasons why many more species are endangered nowadays are caused by humans, such as climate change or pollution, and therefore I believe that humans should be the ones to try and solve this issue.
