Nowadays, keeping pet is in trend and mostly people keep dogs and pets as a pet. This essay will discuss its advantages and disadvantages in the forthcoming paragraphs.
On brighter side, pet provides safety to the ownet. It acts as a security guard as whenever someones tries to enter inside the home, then, it starts barking and alert owner. Moreover, it helps to prevent theft. In return, it gets food, shelter and love as those who keep it and provide it special diet as well as take care of its medical needs otherwise, it will live like a stray animal who is left abandoned even, in harsh weather which sometimes leads to death. Apart from this, it also evades boredom and loneliness especially, in old age people.
On darker side, it is dirty and dangerous as its hairs are dangerous if inhaled by humans. Also, it has a strange behaviour as it can bite anyone when it is annoyed. As a result, it creates threat among people living in a society. Apart from this, it creates disturbance because sometimes it barks at odd hours without any reason which also creates problem for neighbourers so they are not able to have sound sleep and peace. Beside this, it is also confined in four walls that takes away its freedom and also hamper its growth. Some owners treat it badly and even, beat it as well as keep it outside home in poor weather.
To conclude, as it has many advantages and disadvantages. So, according to me only those people should have pet who can really take its responsibility.
