In recent years, there has been an argument for the increasing number of multinational companies in globalization, which have a negative effect on the environment. Therefore, I strongly believe that it is a negative one.

Although multinational companies will have a positive impact on global business, which is to have more efficiency in economic, financial, and trade, for example, if you have more efficiency in the economy, it means the demand and supply are stable. On the other hand, I believe that it will have more of a negative effect too.

The emergence of multinational companies has a negative effect on the environment, for example, companies involved in agriculture and fossil fuels have an effect on air pollution. In the case of Thailand, I have experience doing my seminar project about the environment and climate change of the companies in Thailand. One of these companies has been burning sugarcane to make sugar, and this smoke is released into the air causing many problems such as P.M. 2.5 and greenhouse gases, which have an effect on people in countries and the world.

In conclusion, even though the emergence of multinational companies in globalization will have a positive impact by driving the economy, the negative effects outweigh the positive ones.
