Issues related to going to university and beginning work without a graduate degree are frequently discussed these days. Although some believe that university education is important, others are of the opinion that they prefer working and not going to university. Both of these contrasting views will be analyzed, and my opinion will be given in this essay. Personally, I am of the opinion that a balance between the two approaches is the most advantageous.
On the one hand, there are good grounds for arguing that it is important to study at university. First and foremost, studying at university will enable individuals to acquire knowledge and prepare for working. A good case in point is that students can discover skills they prefer and are interested in. An additional point is that going to university also provides opportunities to learn about basic socializing. In other words, this approach allows people to learn and understand other skills such as communication and building relationships with new friends or teachers before going to work or living in society.
Yet, other people put forward the view that beginning work without going to university is preferable. One justification often given for this is that working without a graduate degree has some advantages. For instance, people will acquire many skills from working, such as gaining firsthand experience from the work done and encountering real-life problems. Another important consideration is that individuals can learn what skills they are proficient in and what work they prefer. This is illustrated by the fact that once you start working, you will know if it is a job you like and are proficient in.
From my perspective, both sides of the argument have their merits. Nevertheless, on balance, I am inclined to believe that it is important to go to university, and starting work without a university education can also provide valuable knowledge. Having considered both sides of the argument, studying at university enables students to discover skills they prefer and are interested in and learn about basic socializing. Therefore, a balanced approach is the most suitable solution.
