Over the recent decades, telecommuting has become an integral part of people’s lives. Some people think it can benefit only the workers, not the employers. However, I disagree with the given statement that it can benefit only the employees, and not the employers. In this essay I will examine the benefits for both employers and employees.
On the one hand, one of the main benefits is that it save time, and do not need to spend hours getting ready or being stuck in traffic jams. For example, teleworkers can start work immediately from home. Another advantage is cost savings, beceause they do not need spend money on private or public transportion. Furthermore, employees can spend more time with their families and manage household responsibilities ,such as dropping children at school , going to the market, and take care of their family. In contrast, workers learn to use modern technology , which helps business growth and country economics. Telecommuting plays an important role in maintaining a heatly work-life blance.
On the other hand, there are many advantages to employers also. Firstly, when workers work at home, they don’t need office space and it is very expensive to build large offices. Not only is constructing a building for office costly but maintaining them it is also very costly. Another benefit is that, telecommuting work can reduce worker absenteeism also they do not have to take a whole day off for family problems, such as looking after sick a family member. This is also beneficial for employers.
In conclusion, telecommuting is beneficial for both employees as well as employers, as it saves time, reduces cost and improves productivity for both sides.
