Presently, a number of adolescents have been unguided by their guardians regarding accessing the internet; therefore, they are using the internet to communicate with unknown individuals, which is harmful for themselves. This essay will examine the problems of this trend, which are that juveniles may be targeted by online predators and will suffer health issues due to excessive use. Additionally, this essay will explore viable solutions: Proper guidelines from children’s parents and increased awareness regarding cyberbullying would mitigate these issues.

The primary concern about this phenomenon is that minors can be targeted by internet stalkers. This is because children do not have adequate ideas regarding cyberspace, as they are inexperienced in social media, which is why there is a high chance that they will struggle. Furthermore, extreme use of the web leads to detrimental effects for adolescents on the grounds that electric appliances produce dangerous radiation, which is destructive for all children. For instance, if a child uses a mobile phone for an extended period of time in his daily life, he will have some problems with his eyes or head. As a consequence, this view is deleterious for those who use the internet excessively.

On the other hand, effective solutions can include appropriate monitoring from their guardians and developing consciousness about cyberbullying. Firstly, parents should establish clear instructions and boundaries with respect to the web, as most of the children obey their parents, which is favourable for them in their emotional lives. Another prominent solution is that schools and communities can play a crucial role in tackling children who use extensive internet on the grounds that they should be warned about the detrimental effects of using the internet so that they are discouraged.

In conclusion, having unsupervised access to cyberspace for children can help them socialise. Despite the fact that juveniles can be targeted by internet stalkers and affected by some health problems from this trend, guardians suitable monitoring and children’s perceptions about using the internet can be useful solutions.
