In today’s world, the production of meat demands more amounts of land than crop. Some people claim that the deficiency of land could be resulted with considerable fall in meat consumption in the world. Moreover, several regulations could be taken to mitigate consumption of meat, and the issues are listed below.

One potential measure of land may be considered as to measure insufficient use of land areas which are held to feed farm animals. In this case, an extensive usage of land leads to other environmental issues, such as air pollution, water depletion. For example, in Great Britain, farmers, who engage with livestock, can utilize alternative feed resources, such as wheat berries, rather than available areas for crop production as well.

While reducing meat consumption by curtailing suitable areas, the government should take into account its potential drawbacks which engender health issues in human body. As people eat less meat than they need, body does not accomplishes its function, and come up with a lack of crucial vitamins. For example, there is a discomfort that interested people more in nowadays, hair loss, that arises with lack of iron in body by eating less meat than really need.

In conclusion, instead of only dealing with curtail of meat production, the usage of potential alternatives of land could solve this issue partly. This can be achieved through the implementation of alternative protein sources and dietary adjustments. Despite these challenges, concerted efforts towards reducing meat consumption are crucial for sustainable land management and environmental conservation.
