Since the beginning of twentieth century, most of high-position jobs have belonged to men. However, I believe that women should be considered worthy for these jobs too.
Firstly, the reason why men are mostly placed in high-levels jobs is because of a cliché. In all societies, men have been always thought to be capable of doing tasks which are more difficult. This way of thinking has led many people and companies that only males can get high-position jobs and women may not be as successful as them. But this cliché has been proved to be wrong. Nowadays, many women have showed a great set of skills, which are required for higher job positions. As an example, Kamala Harris, who has been an attorney, is now running for presidency.
Secondly, government should step in and take some action. When a great amount of high-level jobs are possessed by men, then an imbalanced society will be ensued. To explain better, by reserving jobs which are in a high status, many women would feel left out and they would feel that their qualifications are not enough. By this sense of inequality, females would be frustrated and disappointed and this consequence will not be good for societies.
To conclude, I believe that more high-level jobs should belong to women, due to the fact that they are as capable as men and also because the thought of men only being qualified for these jobs, is a cliché.
