Government has always recognised the importance of funding the public infrastructure but whether they spend money on the renovating of existing buildings or on the construction of new ones has been a matter of concern. In my opinion that countries should allocate sufficient portions of their public budgets for nust just building new structure but renovating existing ones as well .
First and foremost I accept the idea that buildings new public facilities is of great importance. As countries are making a lot of advanced in technology transport communication and public services they are expected allign their infrastructural development with other types of progress. By expecting new museums and theatres for example the government can not only enable its citizens to have access to places of entertainment but it can also ensure that these newly constructed buildings are more comfortable convenient well designed and modern compared to old ones .
Secondly I would attach great importance to removing existing buildings. In museums town halls and theatres do not receive financial aid they might be collapse and the money invested in their construction will prove futile . Furthermore it is much more economical and time saving to restore a building rather than buding a brand new one.
In conclusion through I suppose the creation of new public buildings I also believe that this should not come at the expense of existing ones. Government should place as much as importance on the maintenance of existing buildings they do on the construction of new ones in terms of allocationg revenues.
