Numerous countries developed their educational system by making universities non chargeable. This improvement may be considered advantageous for students, who do not have the opportunity to get higher education due to financial status. On the other hand free education in some countries will lead to economic level off. From my point of view it is advantage for students who tend to enhance their academic work.In this essay i will discuss both sides by bringing up examples and clarification.
One of the first things that comes to mind when thinking about the advantage of free education is the various opportunities that the government gives to its youth population to help them improve themselves. For example national universities in Germany are free, which helps Low-income families or individuals to have the chance to get higher education, moreover this would lead to social equality and it will reduce student debt.Having the option of not paying for their education is also encouraging for students because they do not have to worry about working part-time to cover the cost of their schooling. This will help pupils concentrate in class.
Nonetheless there are disadvantages in this kind of development. On argument in con of mentioned above is the higher taxes, possible overcrowding and lack of quality.First of all free education could be burden on government’s budget. For example there are countries that gain money from taxes, which means if the administration is going to pay for them, taxes are going to rise.Secondly universities will become crowded, but quantity of pupil is not promising high quality. For example in Armenia high education is not free for anyone and students fight for their education, this will help the country to have more qualified workers who will help to the economical growth.
In conclusion, even though it will be hard for governments to pay for all of their citizens’ education, after some time countries will have qualified and professional employees.
