Moreover, from a corporate standpoint, digital systems facilitate remote work. This allows companies to recruit top talent and collaborate with various institutions worldwide, increasing the likelihood of business success. Additionally, implementing remote work helps reduce operating costs, such as building and utility expenses. In fact, technological giants like Google have already introduced online work policies.
On the other hand, it is undeniable that these advancements have certain negative effects. Primarily, some people now prefer online interactions over face-to-face meetings, which can make it more challenging to build strong relationships, potentially leading to a more indifferent society. Additionally, the prevalence of mobile phones and Internet-based communication increases the risk of data breaches. Sensitive information may be exploited by criminals, posing challenges to both individual privacy and national security.
