Living in a modern era, information access has been a critical issue attracting the attention of people globally. Since computers and electric devices are increasingly becoming preferences of people to update data, it seems like books, magazines and newspapers are no longer to be printed on paper. Although this shift brings people convenience and comfort, i personally disagree with this situation.
From the positive perspective, leveraging modern devices to update information is the best way to reduce both money and time since it allows individuals access to the data at the click of a button. By means of illustration, instead of buying paper documents, data can be read freely on social media platforms, specifically tiktok, facebook or online press. Looking up data on modern devices also saves time for individuals who do not have time to hang out for buying books, magazines and newspapers.
Nevertheless, paper documents play an important role in daily life, which means it is necessary to be print continously. Due to the sentimental values inside books, which do not appear in the text on modern devices. Therefore, only reading via papers, people have the deep understanding of the emotions, the meanings conveyed of authors. For example, when individuals access information via papers, it seems to be more emotional and inspirational than read the text on modern devices. Additionally, relying on modern devices excessively causes eyes-weaknesses, so paper documents might be the exchange method to update data.
In summary, although this shift in the way people approaching data provides several comfort for people, i definitely believe that it is very necessary to continously print books, magazines and newspapers on paper.
