Nowadays, it is thought that we should only focus on our communities and countries, and not on others because we can’t help everyone in this world. I strongly disagree with this position, and two following paragraphs will explain why I think so.
First of all, helping each other can build a strong relationship between countries. A significant number of countries have social, economical and political issues. Sometimes it is crucial to get support from other places. However, countries that are stronger can do this not only just because, but because they may get reverse assistance in the future. For instance, when a weaker country does not have a proper armament to protect itself, it can be still fairly strong in other areas. If it asks other governments for support, it can give them reverse assistance.
In addition, a significant number of issues can affect not only the particular nation, but many others as well. All of the countries are interconnected. Countries depend on each other in different areas. For example, nowadays there are several ecological problems. In Antarctica the ice is melting, and this affects lots of cities that are placed near by water. It is significant for governments to not forget about the interconnection.
In conclusion, governments should help each other when it is possible to get a reverse help and to not have issues in their communities and countries.
