Band 4: More and more people are working from home due to the development of technology.Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Nowadays, the number of people who work from home is increasing each day thanks to technology developments.In this essay i will explain why i think the disadvantages of working online outweigh its advantages.

On the one hand, working from home can be both convenient and time saving.As people do not have to go to offices or any other place of work, the amount of time can be saved and work from their home by the internet where those individuals feel the most comfortable.This means that the ideas, information could be easily shared and the work schedule also can be flexible.For instance, my sister works from home and she saves much of her time and manages her own schedule.

On the other hand, working from home has its drawbacks such as less cooperation between employers and feeling isolated.Solutions for critical thinking tasks at work, exchanging brainstorm ideas, or discussing tasks in real-life conversations is much more rejoiceful than meeting behind screens and can not be replaced.

In conclusion, although time saving benefits, the disadvantages such as less cooperation make this trend less beneficial overall. With proper management, the drawbacks can outweigh the benefits.
