Recently, there have been major technological advancements. Therefore, an increasing number of workers choose to work remotely. In my opinion , this trend is considered positive, as it has more benefits for both employers and employees.
The primary reason why I believe that working from home is advantageous is that it is significantly more convenient for individuals than working from site. Instead of workers having to ride transportation to their workplaces every day, they save their time and energy for the tasks they have at their job. Consequently, leaders can expect employees to be more productive and achieve their targets while working at the comfort of their homes.
An additional reason for my stance is that with eleminating transportation factor, it becomes much easier to stick to work schedules. Many employees take time offs or call sick leaves more often when working from site. However, it is proven that the rate of those occassional leaves dramatically decreases within those working remotely. Even when they are sick, it becomes possible for them to do their work tasks because they can do it from the comfort of their own place. For example, a tired individual can just recharge with a cup of coffee or a short nap, which is otherwise not possible in some workplaces. This way, people working from home tend to adhere to work schedules. That is why many companies nowadays offer remote job opportuinities.
To conclude, the prevalance of technology has resulted in many people having jobs while being at their homes. In this essay, I discussed the main reasons why I consider this to be a positive trend.
