Education plays an important role in shaping the future of any nation in terms of social, economic, and political development; hence, several countries spend a hefty sum of fundings on education after realising its significance. In my viewpoint maths and science are the two crucial subjects; whereas, a subject like psychology does not hold that much importance. My opinion is elaborated further with appropriate reasons and examples in the ensuing paragraphs.
The first and foremost cause to bolster the vitality of maths and science is the opportunities offered by these two fields. To be more precise, in this fast pacing world of technology, science has made our life comfortable to a major extent. Similarly, maths can be considered omnipresent, as it is applicable everywhere in our lives. Not only does it make our mind analytical but also enhances our reasoning abilities, which resultantly improve our cognitive skills. Furthermore, after getting expertise in such realms, one can get ample of chances to climb the success ladder. To examplify, students studying science and maths have many career options; and with consistent hard work and efforts, they not only work for their progress but also earn name and fame for their nations.
On the flip side, I believe ,a subject like psychology is very complex to understand, so very few pupils opt for it. Furthermore, it does offer some rewards but with certain restrictions.
To conclude and offer my stance I would say that, undoubtedly education is the key factor in building a nation and areas like science and maths are of utmost importance,so there is a dire need to explore more in these two spheres of academics.
