It is often argued that the world’s urgent problems, such as climate change and global conflicts, can only be solved through international cooperation. I strongly agree with this view because many of these issues are global in nature and require shared responsibility.
Firstly, numerous urgent problems transcend national boundaries and cannot be resolved by one country alone. Global warming, for instance, affects the entire planet regardless of national borders. Rising sea levels and extreme weather of each countries as well as many countries participate in Paris agreement where countries agreed to take action to protect the environment from harmful gases. If each countries individual struggle as a result dramatically may be weaken results.
Moreover, international cooperation facilitates the pooling of resources, knowledge. Humanitarian crises, such as refugee movements and pandemics, regularly demand to support from international cooperation. In such cases, international cooperation addressing negotiations between different countries, also plays a decisive role organizing joint actions and discussing.
However, some individuals argued that countries should solve their own causes first. They believe that every nation has different priorities, and cooperation can sometimes take too long. For instance, building hospital, improving education, or fixing local roads are problems that national government should handle independently. I agree that local problems can be solved within the country, but global challenges require teamwork.
In conclusion, while some issues can be handled by individual government, I believe that the most urgent global problems need international cooperation. Working together assists nations share knowledge and find faster as well as more effectively solutions.
