Music has existed for thousands of years since the beginning of the life and its functions are indispensable in communities. it contributes significantly to alter people’s mentality on a daily basis because it makes listeners to find peace in the world. I totally believe that music in this time contributes to union communities and countries because, when a large portion of people listen same thing, that will make them closer.
In the beginning, Music has played a great rule to break routine and makes people feel the present time without distractions. To illustrate, when music listeners attend and enjoy a music event, individual will focus on the present and forget all the issues that occupy his brain; after the event he can continue and strive his day peacefully. Meditation is a prominent example for using music to assist users attach with the present, especially at the beginning of doing it. Therefore, the sounds that come from music helps people to relieve and enhance their mental health and well being.
Moreover, music is considered a considerable language, which approach and link different societies across the globe. In other words, music instruments can bring a plethora of people who do not from same country, ethnic, religion and age in one location together; this is a great prove that people are the same and can share a single thing without any disputes or arguments. For instance, Egypt held an annually event called international drums carnival that brings a nominated musical artist from every country, in order to present their own culture through a music to audience from all over the world. Thus, it can be seen that events can be a weapon to war on discrimination and makes countries know each other’s.
