In the last few decades, virtual education has entered the mainstream of many societies. It is suggested by those who side with online education that to go to it is not a necessary element in a conventional education and that going online is the way to go in modern times. Personally, I reckon that this view has flaws.
In the first place, sitting in front of a computer all day can lead to depression. As scientists show, learning in a traditional environment helps students focus because there are fewer distractions. Online learning leaves you alone, while offline learning allows you to learn to work in a team.
In the second place, when you are at home, you quickly become bored, the sofa, the refrigerator, the phone, everything gets in the way. There are many benefits to traditional learning. For instance, when everyone else is studying at school, you are forced to pay attention to your studies. Getting up, getting dressed, and going to school at a certain time teaches a person discipline. Besides, teachers play a role in classrooms. A real teacher can explain difficult topics again and help students when they do not understand something.
In conclusion, I believe that online learning will not fully replace traditional classroom teaching in the future. While online education has many advantages, traditional learning helps students stay focused, disciplined, and socially active. In my opinion, the best solution is a combination of both methods.
