Today, lots of employees are engaged in distanced work rather than going to an office. In my opinion, although this shift has some negative aspects, it is completely favourable trend.
Since technology increases it’s influence, it may lead to a unfavourable shifts in our lives, especially at work. People who work remotely are loosing their social skills, which are the essential part of our lives. When you work at real environment, you have to communicate with people, but it is not nessasery if you do your job from your home for example. Also, you can miss an opportunity to gain an incredible experience. Since there are lots of interesting parties, and other events which are conducting by companies, you would have a chance to participate in it and even have fun with yout colleagues.
Regardless the negative aspects of this shift, there are also positive sides, which I think more substantial. Firsly, a distant working attracts individuals with its convenience, because it saves important resources as: time, energy and money. Imagine how good not being tired from hustle and bustle of public transport, not spend for extra expenses and feel comfortable. Secondly,if a job of your dream too far from you, it is not a problem now. The internet provides many opportunities for them who are interested in different jobs. Finally, this development is beneficial for employers, who are eager to get a well-qualified stuff. In the past, although employers were seeking talented people who would make flourish they company, there were limited options for them. But now, when they can advertise their business,attract, and then choose aproptiate people who are interested in it, it is a way easier.
In conclusion,despite the fact that the trend of working remotely has some unfavourable treats, this development certainly can be considered as advantageous.
