Bullying has become a significant issue in schools. One possible cause is the lack of attention from school administration and parents of those children who face this problem. However, increasing awareness among school officials and offering the help of a psychologist could be an effective solutions to address the problem and ensure a safe environment for students.
Ignoring issues like bullying is a significant reason why this problem persists in schools. This is largely because neither the school administration nor parents treat bullying as a serious problem, despite its severe impacts on children’s mental health and social life in general. Another reason to persistence of bullying is tendency of victims to endure it without taking actions to stop it . Research indicates that 65% of bullying victims reported that, despite informing their parents, the issue was neglected and continued until they graduated from school. The other 35% of these victims simply remained silent.
Two possible approaches can be taken to address a problem and one of them is increasing awareness of school officials. This may result in understanding the problem clearly and taking further actions to reduce bullying among students such as organising events againts bullying. The other solution is offering a help of psychologist which can prevent consequences of bullying that may appear
