It is believed that, our world is a place where everyone can have opportunity to study online and to enhance his knowledge despite a long distance. Nevertheless, this case will be retreated comparing to in person education. I completely agree with the statement that studying in person is better than online courses.
First of all, there are several arguments why traditional learning is more valuable than distance learning. While e-learning has become more popular, physical classes have real communication and instant support from teacher or group mates. Students communicate with each other face to face, and thus lead to maintain friendship sharing ideas. For instance, students from Semey State Pedagogical University, who had been studying since 2008 to 2012, keep in touch yet, even though many of them have tied knots and have children. Now they are not only just friends, but also close family friends whose relationship has been lasted for several years. Second argument is getting instant help from your facilitator or teacher. While studying on-site education, learners can ask for misunderstanding issues immediately. A clear example for this is my students always ask questions when we are having physical classes at school. As a result, they get answers right away. If there was not in person education, a strong friendship and assist would not exist among group mates.
On the other hand, online courses often fail poor quality, because they lack human engagement and rely on passive video lecturers which demand high self-discipline. To give an example, when the schoolchildren are taught online during Coronavirus, quality education has decreased significantly. Learners lack of practical hours which are conducted by supervisors. The more distance learning, the less qualified specialists will be in society.
In conclusion, traditional learning system is more superior to virtual education. The direct interaction, practical experience, and academic support available at colleges and universities make in-person learning a more effective option for most students.
