In recent years, artificial intelligence has been increasingly involved in various process activities within many organizations. Despite certain disadvantages associated with this trend, I still believe that the advantages outweigh them.
On the one hand, employees may face a crisis of job loss, as manual labor can easily be replaced by automated devices. Consequently, when artificial intelligence can carry out most tasks, there is a high risk of unemployment. Moreover, there is a high investment cost for purchasing and the need for highly qualified operators. In countries like Vietnam, many organizations have to spend a significant amount of time importing AI tools or software that are not developed in their country and hiring professors to train their staff in using them.
On the other hand, the use of artificial intelligence helps enhance efficiency and productivity. This is because it has the ability to process and analyze data faster and more accurately. For instance, robots are often used in warehouses for loading and unloading goods, reducing manufacturing time and increasing efficiency. Additionally, artificial intelligence enables organizations to save a substantial amount of money that would otherwise be spent on personnel expenses. By replacing human workers with AI, organizations may need fewer staff or even eliminate the need for human workers altogether. Consequently, organizations can cut costs related to salaries and other personnel-related benefits, posing a difficult challenge for them with operation expenses.
In conclusion, despite the costs and potential increase in unemployment associated with artificial intelligence, the benefits it offers in terms of work efficiency and profit increase are significant.
