These days public transport costs are significantly rising. While there several causes, solutions are always available to tackle this problem.
There are some causes to increasing prices of public transport. First of all, the prices of petrol. It is clear that buses or trains run by fuels. On top of it, they require expensive petrol which the highest quality. Aside from this, the expenses to public transport system. Including road safety, employers salaries, researches and developing the system. All of this involve high prices and effect public transport fees.
To address this issue, governments and policymakers should take several actions. For instance, governments have to cancel out taxes on the imported fuels from other countries. This might minimize public transport fares. Additionally, policymakers should produce new laws that extend green energy such as opening more power plants and also developing or cooperating electric car factories. After that all motor public transport should replace with electric transports. It is true that initially it require big expense. However in the future it will be dramatically effect to public transport prices.
In conclusion, although, fuel costs and expense to developing transport system can cause this problem, governments and policymakers can solve this issue with extending green energy and canceling taxes to import fuels.
