In recent years, it has been widely believed that conventional schools will eventually be replaced by online education. While I agree that e-learning offers several significant benefits, I firmly believe that face-to-face classes should always remain the primary option of education because they play an essential role in students’ academic and social development.
On the one hand, some people claim that studying online is beneficial because it allows learners to study anytime and anywhere. This means that people from remote areas can access knowledge and adjust to their own schedule conveniently. Secondly, technology is developing at a rapid speed day by day; therefore, modern tools such as AI and interactive platforms, online lessons can become more engaging than traditional ones.
On the other hand, school lessons also play a vital role in students’ development. Interaction with peers, for instance, is especially important for them because it helps keep pace with others and maintain emotional balance. In addition, students need face-to-face communication to enhance their social skills. For instance, friendships and teamwork allow them to be motivated and help them move forward with their academic progress. Excessive screen time may often cause stress, loneliness, and a lack of emotional support.
In conclusion, I believe that while online learning offers certain advantages for education, it can not replace traditional classrooms fully, which provide essential academic, social and emotional support with flexibility and convenience.
