Parents are considered the real supports for their counterparts, some believes it is important for children to spend most of their time on physical activities and vice versa. In my opinion, it is imperative for children to balance both in order to have a holistic development.
On the one hand, physical activities are a necessity for the physical state of a child to ensure a healthy lifestyle. In this sedentary lifestyle, children are less active in physical activities, concentrating more on indoor games rather than outdoor activities.
Furthermore, sports and physical exercises teaches children to be more competitive, physically fit and having team spirit which shapes them to become better individuals in future.
On the other hand, education creates a clear professional path for children, brightens their horizon. Encouraging children to spend less time on studies makes them believe that education is less important and most likely affect their performance in school. To get enrolled in top universities they need to work really hard in their academics. Therefore, with no qualification the chances of becoming a successful individual is low.
In conclusion, it is important for parents to teach their children the benefits of studying and carrying out physical activities. Health is a necessity but parents cannot ignore the importance of education. Parents should follow a balanced approach for the physical and mental development of their children.
