I disagree with this statement as online learning can be viewed as being lazy. More specifically it is frowned upon as being “easier”. Over time, the person’s social skills can become weaker, because of the person’s spending too much time at home, and not developing any social skills by going outside less often. In addition online schooling encourages cheating, because there is no one monitoring or watching over the individual during the exam.
Online learning has been increasingly popular over the last five years. Students seem to prefer online learning over traditional classroom education, because it is easier to manage. Furthermore, I think that being able to learn at a person’s own time, anywhere, seems to be more ideal than having to wake up at a certain time every day while being in a classroom full of other students causing potential distractions. For example, acknowledging the fact traditional education takes up half of the time and day, doing online education can be helpful if the individual is busy or if they cannot manage their time correctly. As well as, if the person suffers from conditions such as ADHD or has trouble focusing, being in a classroom can be very distracting.
In conclusion, despite the fact the fact that online education is highly looked upon, it can have its cons and so can traditional education. Both learning methods are equally as effective coming with their own pros and cons although, traditional learning is hard to replace but, can be replaced over the years due to the development of technology.
