In today’s world, musical skills have become an important trend to discuss in the society. However, I largely agree with the stance to play an instrument is the most relevant accomplishment for children. In this essay, I will be supporting my agreement with examples.
Starting with the view of music is assisting to control emotions during childhood. When a child can express their emotions through music, in the future that adult will be able to regulate and control adequate their state of mind. For example, in Chile many schools have advocate for music as a mandatory subject in early education, because it has demonstrated that the children improve their auto-control while there are playing piano. In addition to this, the probability to win a challenge. Because trained students, can demonstrate their abilities to participate in an international competition and won prizes. For instance, in Japan governments are promoting the children arts’ skill to represent their communities and boost their confidence.
On the contrary, high levels of pressure and expectation can be detrimental for the kid’s mental health. Provided that some parents are not capable to control the demand and expectations in their daughters or sons. For example, in Chile many young musicians have experimented emotional crisis, because of their parents pressured to more successful than their peers in piano or violin.
In conclusion, while the elevate rate of pressure and expectation in children cannot be overlooked, I largely advocate for the positive impact that emotion control and professional musician development can have in their adulthood.
