Many people believe that rich countries, should support poor countries with food and education materials. Well, support is essential to boost the development of the supported nation but some others prefer to get them from the goverment of their countries as the primary responsible organ of wellbeing of their citizen. Personnaly, I support the idea that it is the responsiblity of the gorvenment to look after their populations.
First of all, Wealthy countries support will result into domination. It is known that when a country provides basic needs such as food and aeducation, it will use it as weapon to control the suppoerted country which impunites the independence of the country. Fo rinstance, In Rwanda aftermath of 1994, Many European countries supported with food and education and even in shelter since all domain of country developement were shut, the existing government realised that it will not end in support and took those support as loan and this helped it to work hard so today they are resilient and none of those supported countries were able to took decision without the approval of Rwanda. Therefore, some continuous supports result into neocolonialism.
Secondly, The support in education will emphasis on depending to those western countries instead of innovation. For example, in congo citizen even those educated ones, believe that their future belongs to relocating to European and American countrie instead of using the acquired knowledge in developing their coutries. Such kind of education are resulting from the education support they got from their colonial country which continued intervening as part of charity support. So, it would be good to acquire knowlgde with intent of change the live of citizen and empower generation to break that cuture of dependence.
In conclusion, Support from wealth countries should be temporary and the goverment learn from it by searching other ways of being resilient otherwise colonialism will continue in form of support.
