In today’s dynamic landscape, there is no denying that teenagers are not able to handle their time management between schoolwork and personal life. From my perspective, the root causes of this worrying tendency are the feeling of being under pressure and overthinking. These challenges can be tackled by implementing effective time-management strategies and removing distractions.
One major reason why students cannot manage their time is the feeling of being under pressure. High expectations from parents, teachers, and even themselves lead them to be overwhelmed. For instance, in competitions only one student will win first place, despite the fact that nowadays in our competitive era has a large number of participants. Realizing this fact, teenagers start to overthink about it and study more than they used to. At first glance, this may appear beneficial; however, in reality, it gives rise to numerous adverse consequences, including heightened stress, exhaustion, and an imbalance between academic and personal life.
To mitigate this issue, the younger generation should create a structured schedule and set goals to motivate themselves. For example, using planners or setting deadlines can help them to focus on education and to become more organized. Moreover, minimising distractions also plays a crucial role in time management.Studying while students hear notification sounds is distracting, isn’t it? Therefore, it is important to eliminate all distractions because it will not help teenagers to concentrate on study.
In conclusion, the idea that the younger generation faces many challenges is mainly due to academic pressure. To address this serious problem, students should create an effective schedule that allows them to maintain a healthy balance and personal life. In addition, removing distractions enables students to focus on their education as much as possible.
