Public transportation is relatively cheaper for people in a society because most trains, coach buses are owned by the government and tickets-rate have been subsidized for people in the society. These makes them more convenient for both low and middle salary earners people to be able to use them as their means of transport when moving around the city. For example, a recent survey conducted by the UK ministry of transportation department showed that 8 out of 10 people residing in the country have been making use of public buses and trains to move around the city due to low-cost.
Due to its easy-accessibility for users, the shenghai metro is the best option to move around in a large city. Users do not have work miles before getting a bus or train each community has a bustop and train stations for people to board the vehicles. The train stations and bus stops are always constructed in the centre of the community which make them easily accessible for everyone residing in the area. For instance, the city i reside in the UK has close to 30 train stations which 10 stations are 5 to 10-minute walk away from my house. I always find it very easy to catch up with either bus or train.
