In this globalized world that we live in, murders and wars are becoming the main titles of nowadays information. Consequently, it could bring to a different tragic influences on our daily life. Personally, I retain that the amount of information that we receive every day should be controlled and restricted from the state.
Firstly, I strongly believe that it is necessary to be informed about the world, in fact, it develop an awareness of the global situation of this time. Moreover, an information restriction in the media could influence our perspective to negative aspects. In other words, limiting news, could not generate interest towards a specific topic. Furthermore, it is necessary to spread a large quantity of information about a specific event to underline its importance. As a result, in these months, all states are focusing on the war between Ukraine and Russia to communicate that this conflict, really near to our borders, may be dramatic for the entire Europe.
However, this large quantity of violence, expressed by the media, would bring us the sensation that our world is not safe anymore. Consequently, I believe that states should engage in showing the global news only in specific television channels. As a consequence, this would give more space to TV series, films and other types of entertainment. Another factor to consider is that government have to limit the sources by selecting the most reliable ones. Often, writers, belonged to well-known newspapers, report information and data, without verify the authenticity of the events described.
To conclude, although this days the global information is having an important role, it would be necessary to reduce the amount of news that we receive. As consequence, we could develop an independent idea of the facts instead of being bombarded by violent events during the day.
