Schools often have limited resources, which can make it challenging to manage its expenditures and some people opine that it should be used for excellent teachers while others suggest to spend on computer equipment. This essay intends to look into both perspectives; however, I side with spending well on skillful teachers.
Although technology become so advance and essential, it is undeniable that teachers never lose their importance in a child’s education. They have capability of shaping students’ minds and assisting them to develop their full potential. When teachers are well-paid and respected, they are more likely to perform better which can lead to extraordinary educational outcomes for students.
Furthermore, each and individual students have different learning style. So, teachers can customize a faster and simpler way to present information to the students. They can add their own knowledge gained through experiences and other resources which can stimulate interest and provide a fun learning environment. Additionally, schools are places where students learn many general knowledges and social skills apart from their academic education.
On the other hand, computer equipment is necessary for modern classrooms since it can get access to internet, an ocean of knowledge. Moreover, students can use software to create presentations, assignments and get all information surfing through internet. They can also overcome geographical boundaries and able to communicate with expertise from related industries. However, so many false information can be seen on online and needs teachers’ guidance to get effective learning.
To conclude, it can be said that, teachers are still require to guide every step of learning journey. So, I believe that money should spent on good teachers.
