Despite the increasing amount of information about health and fitness that is available, people still have a hard time applying them to their lives and improving their health. I believe this is due to their lack of commitment and not prioritizing health. Thus, motivating them to do so will have perfound impact in improving people’s life style.
For most people, the state of their body is not a priority; therefore, they fell to allocate the proper amount of time to taking care of their body. Consequently, eventhough they have all the information needed, they experience a lot of health issues that can be avoided by impelmenting the knowledge they have to their eveyday lives. For instance, a person that works all day will likely have low motivation to execise, thus he prioritizes work and getting rest above working out and getting healthy.
Therefore, the most effective way to solve this problem is by encouraging people to put their health above all other aspects of their lives. This can be achived by educating them on the effects of bad habits and the various benefits of leading a healthy life. One example of this is Japan, where individuals of all ages are encouraged to exercise both at home and in their free time at work. This has led to their society to be affected by less diseases.
In conclusion, I believe the main reson for people partaking in unhealthy activities despite them being informed on the subject, is due to their unwillingness to prioritize it, and that can be changed by educating them.
