The number of people who lead an unhealthy lifestyle has recently started decreasing rapidly. While this development can be attributed to the widespread awareness of the repercussions of unhealthy food and a sedentary lifestyle, celebrity endorsement can play a huge role in its further improvement.

Self-help industry, particularly with books and YouTube videos, has revolutionized the way people eat and exercise. Nowadays, every third book is focused on productivity and how healthy food and exercise can increase it. Most bloggers, too, have made thousands of videos on the downsides of eating junk food, such as fast food and the benefits of workout. As a result, most people are now aware of the science behind unhealthy eating habits and sedentary lifestyle, hence the popularity of healthy lifestyles everywhere.

Celebrities have the key part to play to encourage a healthy lifestyle even more. By just telling the audience how exercise and nutritious food positively affect their moods, productivity and life as a whole, they can influence thousands, if not millions, of individuals thanks to their reputation and fame. Cristiano Ronaldo is a good case in point. Not only is he a regular football player, but also he is one of the best health promoters on social media, sharing his daily healthy habits like waking up early and doing workout every day.

In conclusion, the popularity of exercise and healthy food is mainly due to the bestseller self-help books and viral scientific videos on the Internet. However, more people can be attracted to a healthy lifestyle with the help of famous people, as their fans try to imitate what they do and follow their advice.
