Unquestionably, every coin has two sides and so are the people. Society’s people are divided into two groups and therefore, increasing life expectancy, has become a topic of debate among people. This essay will compare and contrast both of the opinions along with my opinion which is in the favor of former view and will be discussed in a sensible conclusion.
Initiating with the points supporting first school of thought, firstly, raising the garbage problem which people make every day. The people who support this say that, Increasing life expectancy will lead to profound consequences in the future because as more people live, the more they consume. For instance, in my family we have at least one trash bag every day. Secondly, growing the number of people can be dangerous for our climate. In fact, people waste a lot of fossil fuel every day and with life expectancy consumption significantly growing. As a consequence, our planet’s resources are exhausted.
On its contrasting side, people who held another view point say that it can be useful for our science and empirical experience. They believe that every person’s life is unique and as it is longer, as more we can record for another generation . Furthermore, raising numbers of old people can help develop our medicine because society needs more workers. People can find the solution of the problems a lot of dangerous diseases such as cancer, for example.
To conclude, I would like to say that, growing life expectancy has a damaging influence for our environment. However, it will depend upon the mindsets of the people that which view they are in favor of.
