The rising number of a child living with one parent has become more common these days. Some people are positive that this event will not affect the child although some might argue that it is. I personally agree that both of those circumstances can be meet, where all are dependant towards the parent.
A child still can feel happy even though he is missing one figure in his family. This event can be applied while the single parent is able to fulfil the absentness of the other. For example, if a child is only raise by a single mother, the mother not only has to be nurturing but also display a strong figure, which is what fathers are potraying. Besides that, the single parent’s friends and family can fill out the missing piece by always being there for him. Lots of the cases, the single parent’s family tend to help out in raising this kid.
Sadly, not every broken home family has a kin that is living a great childhood. A research has shown that most children with only one parent started feeling depress when they are entering the school time. Just as simple as the school show, where most of the other kids are being watch by both of their parents whereas a broken home child is only being watch with one. As a kid, seeing this difference can lead them into thinking on why does he only has one? This feeling can result in to thinking that he may be the reason on why he only has one parent.
In summary, it is the parents’ responsibility to make their child living the best childhood, no matter if it is a single parent or not. The absentness of another figure does not determine the child’s happiness.
