Nowadays social networking sites is something that more people in the world are using. More kids, teenagers and adults are learning about it and trying to be connected with it, although people are divided in opinions regarding the safety situation. The following essay takes a look at both sides of this argument.

For me, at first they did not care enough about it, but as things have developed, social networking sites started to add some new improvements to their platforms, so everyone feels more secure, such as, Whatsapp, that one thing they have now is a to steps code that helps take care of your information.
In the other hand, we have to talk about that not always is the responsibility of the social networking site, people need to understand the danger of making available everything online. In my opinion, they need to know what they share and to whom they share the information. People also need to observe the policies that the sites have, although it is known that nobody reads them.
One example that can help us understand this is about all the kidnaps that happened when social networking sites started, kids and teenagers talked to everyone without knowing them, so they put themselves in danger.
To sum up, from my point of view, social networking sites are improving so many things in their platforms so we are more safe. Furthermore, base on this situation the authorities are developing more laws, policies and rules to protect information in the sites, which are mandatory for every social networking site. For that reason they improve their safety and people also have to cooperate with this improvements.
