People have diffirent opinions about whether society can work well without rules and laws. I completely agree that law plays a vital role in society, because they help maintain order and protect people’s rights.
first of all, rules and laws keep society safe and organized. If everyone could do whatever they wanted, there would be a lot of chaos. For example, if there were no traffic laws, drivers might ignore red lights or speed limits, which could cause many accidents. The same goes for criminal laws. Without them, people might steal or hurt others without fear of punishment and morally judgement. Therefore, laws guide people’s behavior and make sure people can live together peacefully.
secondly, laws protect fairness and justice. In every country, there are laws to stop discrimination and protect the poor from being treated unfair. For instance, labour laws make sure employment get fair wages and safe working conditions. Without rules the gap between rich and poor is increasingly evident and powerful people could take advantage of the weak, and society would become unequal, possibly leading to riot from the lower classes. This shows that laws are necessary to create a fair enviroment for everyone.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that a society can not funtion properly without laws. They are essential to keep peace, protect people’s rights, and make life fair for all citizens
