One significant viewpoint contends that higher education ought to concentrate primarily on vocational training, ensuring graduates are immediately employable in specific fields.The higher education is expensive thing and many students wants to get decent job immediately after university.And it can provide students with thereotical and practical experience on their major.
On other hand,developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills applicable to any career.For example it is not the secret that many pupil can not decide what major they should choose and with these skills you can be able to work almost everywhere.IT has many fields and choosing one is hard so they should be able to adapt and have critical thinking skills to be able to remain on the flow because you can always change your job.
In conclusion,i think that university should give both of these skills, because too specific would limit students and thinking broadly.And just encouraging critical thinking,problem solving problem is not good for me either because anyway you need hand on experience.
