Getting a job is a debatable topic among most of the individuals. According to some, completing a tertiary education is the most effective method to get high salaries. On contrary, others feel that gaining a work experience by bypassing University is better. I will discuss this controversial topic, followed by my opinion.
On the one hand, people of the formal view cite two reasons for their belief. First of all, graduates from university master in-depth understanding of a particular field which requires academic qualifications. An example can be taken of a doctor who can practice only if they had a doctor degree. Another benefit of taking a University degree is the assurance of getting a high salary which would not be possible if a person by past University all together and start working in order to attain experience.
On the other hand there are some people who express doubts on the above approach as they think that not all people can afford expensive degree costs, and hands must begin to work often completing their secondary school so that they can achieve work experience. This experience can sometimes help them to gain promotions as well as choose to become a businessman. For example, a person running a successful business requires effective life skills, such as communication, problem solving, leadership and, so on to achieve success rather than academic qualifications. Besides not everyone has an interest in studying for the due to conditions like poor finance at home.
All in all it can be concluded that even though some argue that high paid jobs can be gained solely based on a degree certificate, others still are not convinced as not all may show interest in studying further full stop thurs I feel that it completely depends on the nature of the profession someone wants to be in either a professional worker of a businessman.
