There have been rising debates, protests, and slogans on the protection against environmental issues. A plethora of people argue that individuals are accountable for the conservation of the environment, whereas others assert that it is the duty of the government. Although inhabitants show responsibility to take care by making it pollution-free, I still think that it is always a better way to maintain rules and regulations through administration.
On the one hand, the role of the public is to keep the surroundings non-polluted. Nowadays, air pollution has surged dramatically, and community are unaware of substantial Contamination like hazardous materials, wastes, oils, and gases, etc. For example, running a factory in a residential area can be extremely risky for citizens due to the fact it can produce harmful gases, noise pollution, and pollute the water, which affects the atmosphere. Moreover, if public are able to reduce the usage of contaminants and take measures to protect the ecosystem, then this can reduce the level of air pollution. However, I do not think these remedies can stop them from polluting the climate because they are ignoring the consequences that may cause health problems due to a lack of environmental knowledge.
On the other hand, others believe that the authority plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the habitat by making strong laws. They can implement certain measures to prevent the deterioration of our natural resources. For instance, a ban on the use of plastic should be imposed, and awareness about recycling should be created among society. Furthermore, they can lower the prices of biodegradable fuels, which are less hazardous to our environment. Diesel and petrol, for instance, are widely used by industries and vehicles because they are economical and easily available. In addition, biodegradable fuels are expensive; consequently, the low cost of such fuels can encourage family to buy them and combat natural problems. I agree with this argument that, as discussed above, if executive members issue a strict notice about environmental preservation to be followed by the natives, it can be effective in the long run.
In conclusion, although liability towards maintaining an eco-friendly situation by inhabitants is good, regulating laws and orders by the state will be more fruitful. Therefore, I believe the power can make a remarkable change in preserving nature.
