Nowadays, most new generations don’t believe in their old traditional cultures and have no interest in passing down these cultures, while some old generations still think that these traditional cultures are still important to keep sending to their children. This essay will give both opinions on traditional culture and argue that some cultures are not that beneficial to remain for the next generation.
Some old people keep passing down the old cultures to their children or grandchildren, due to their personal belief. In their opinion, following the traditions will bring good benefits toward them. For instance, most Asian countries will praise their gods by bringing food and money to their statues. Because they believe gods will bring luck and peace to their people. Moreover, they want to keep remain the process of their traditions to be eternal because of the conservative.
Meanwhile, some young people don’t care about traditions. They think that some traditions are not worth to maintain because it wastes of time and wastes money on decorations, such as big ceremonies, long speeches of elderly people and big merits events. The reason they disbelieve in these cultures is because it doesn’t have science evidence to confirm the results. As many of traditions don’t have scientific reason, they tend to think it’s illogical.
In conclusion, even though some individuals still think old traditions must be remember, I believe that some of it are not advantageous to be continued for next young gener
ation.
