The idea of teaching financial management in school is a controvercial topic. Some believe it would be benificial for their children’s overall growth. Some agure that It’s a total waste of time. This essay will cover both points and give my opinion.
On one hand, people strongly support teaching of financial management, they believe It helps their child to prepare for the real world challenges. No doubt, Understanding money management is a crucial skill, It prevent individual from financial losses and making poor financial decisions. Students should learn and understand the power of money management, investing and saving at early age make them financially stable as an adult.
On the other hand, some argue teaching financial education is totally waste of time, there are far more other important subjects to be covered. School should focus on core academic subjects like English, Science and mathematics. They are more benifical for success in life ahead. Moreover, they have one more strong point, financial education can be possibly be taught at home or even in real life. This practical learning experience gives more stablility and accuarcy in decisions.
In conclusion, This is geniunely a fact, students have alot of workload in their school time, despite of neglacting money management skills, schools should focus on managing effective feasible academic structures, integration of this approach is really helpfull and student are provided with a tool of both academic and real life skills together.
