Nowadays, techology is developing rapidly in fast-paced world and even majority of children have their own smartphones. It is widely believed that some of them are allocating a lot of time of their ordinary routine for social media. In my point of view, it has pros and cons in the same time.
On the one hand, it could be positive tendency, due to beneficial information in some blogger’s content. Indeed, some videos could contribute to form their identity and acquire more knowledge about certain sphers, which leads to extending their worldview. Furthemore, in the century of technology, it is vital to new generation understand how to use it from early age, because their knowledge could assist them to go up in career ladder, especially if child keen on IT- sphers ang going to work in there.
On the other hand, it could bring hazardouz effect to children’s mental and physical health. Occasionally, there is not only advantageous content, but dangerous too. Social media could contain type of news, which could strongly influence to emotional shock and shattered children’s fantasy at all. For instance, there are enormous number of information about terrorist incidents and death of people that was recorded and published in accounts. Therefore, it is available to watch for everyone, even children could stuble upin on this. Despite that, it also affects to their physical health. It damages their eye strain and posture, which could lead to irreversible diseases in the future.
To conclude, sitting a lot of hours in front of screens have positive repercussions, as well as negative ones. However, in my perspective, it is depends on content they used to watch and how they perceive it.
