Many kids spend most of their leisure time participating in extracurricular activities. The positives are more significant than the negatives.
From my perspective, joining clubs most of their spare time means kids will not have enough time to rest and relax after schooldays, which could make them feel exhausted. Moreover, there is no time left for family’s member as well as not having enough time for homework, and school’s project. In addition, it is challenging for children to concentrate on learning. They might get bad scores, which can lead their final exams will not go well.
Here are a number of advantages if children spend most of their time engaging in clubs. They may have more helpful key skills such as working on team, critical thinking, communication, etc. For instance, if they join in soccer or basketball clubs, it requires working with others as a team. Consequently, some kids are forced to be leader, others ought to solve many solutions simultaneously. Furthermore, social activities is a good way to know what is their strengths,as well as explore themselves in order to easily choose their future career.
In conclusion, while taking part in extracurricular activities has clear disadvantages, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
