Band 6+: Some countries achieve international sports by building specialised facilities to train top athletes, instead of providing sports facilities that everyone can use. Do you think this is positive or negative development?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In certain countries, governments prioritize funding elite training complexes instead of providing sports infrastructure for the general public.

Although it is important to provide proper training facilities for professional athletes, I believe that governments should invest more in sports facilities for ordinary people

First, nowadays a lot of professional athletes need special gyms for best results. If they give them an ideal place to train , i believe they are more likely to achieve success. Japan is one of the countries that produces the most successful athletes. In my opinion , this means that when you have access to proper facilities, you are likely to achieve better results. For example , in Japan most of athletes have ideal location from government. This means that when athletes have access to suitable training environments , they are more likely to reach a higher level.

However, I still believe that building sports facilities for regular people is very important. Today, many people are lazy, but if they can go to gyms and exercise, they can stay healthy and help society. For example, regular exercise makes people healthier and can even help the country by reducing medical costs and increasing productivity. So, while special training centers are needed for professional athletes, governments should also make sure that ordinary people have places to be active and fit.

In conclusion, even though building special training centers helps professional athletes do well, I think governments should also make sports facilities for regular people. Gyms, parks, and community centers help people stay healthy and can benefit the whole country. So, it is important to support both top athletes and ordinary citizens.

Nowadays, many countries provide top athletes with high quality facilities for achieving international sports than giving ordinary people an opportunity to do sports. In today’s world international competitions became more than […]

To achieve international success in sports, many countries are building specialized facilities exclusively for top-tier athletes, rather than allowing the general public to utilize these resources.
