Man works to live and not the other way around. Many countries have implemented time limit on duty hours to create a good work-life balance, and promote a healthier lifestyle by avoiding overwork exhaustion. This results in improved efficacy of the workers, which I believe is a sign of positive development.

Enforcing legal recommendations to limit working hours for the employees will guarente that the action is being followed. In addition to that, it will help in building a good professional as well as personal relationship. For example, recently a survey was conducted in an IT company which introduced 8 hours/day work timetable compared to its previous non fixed schedule. The results of which showed that, the employees were more satisfied and were happy to work in a fixed arrangement rather than a hapazard setting.

Furthermore, a limited working time will ensure employees a definitive free time. As a result, workers will get adequate time to rest and re-juvinate, thus enhancing their focus and efficiency. For instance, an experiment was conducted between the efficacy of workers doing an unfixed and random hours/day and 8 hours/day shift. It was clearly seen that employees working in stipulated time frame gave better results. Besides, it not only had beneficiary effect on the workers but also on the company.

In conclusion, implementing laws to limit working hours on the employees will create not only a good working environment but also a good and healthy personal lifestyle. Therefore, it definitively has a positive impact not just for the workers but also for the employees.
