In the modern world, language is an essential and important ability to achieve success. Some people believe that it is better for students to learn foreign languages in primary schools than in higher education. There are a number of benefits, but there are some negative aspects which will be discussed both sides and give my own opinions in this essay.
Learning new languages at a young age brings students plenty of advantages. For example, learning a second language when you are young can make schools students acquire the languages easier and give them a lot of motivation to study more about that language. Moreover, learning another language early gives them the foundation for higher education so that they do not have to be nervous as a beginner.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages to this statement. Having learned another language at an early age may lead to confusion in acquiring a native language. If there are qualified teachers, children will not be able to develop their language.
In conclusion, there are not only advantages, but there are also disadvantages. Learning new languages at a young age can make children acquire easily and bring them enthusiasm to learn. However, having to learn another language at an early age can make them confused about acquiring their native language. I strongly believe that we should introduce another language for students in primary schools.
